In its 5th year of hosting retreats Riverside Inn is again holding their customary craft weekends in January, March, and November of 2010. With 22 uniquely themed guest rooms, you are sure to find a haven to indulge your creativity.

Whether it is scrapbooking, quilting, stamping, or another craft, this weekend getaway is an opportunity to pack up your stuff and head out with girlfriends, sisters, or on your own. This is not just a chance to get your projects finished. It also gives kindred spirits a chance to spend time together and to make new friends!

Do you have a backlog of photographs piling up waiting for attention. . . a quilting project you just never seem to have time to complete. . . cards waiting for your personalized touch, or a book you long to read?

If so, a Riverside ScrapbookINN-StampINN-QuiltINN weekend is the get-away you’ve been waiting for! It’s an opportunity to gather up your shoe-boxes of photos and scrapbooking supplies. . . or your quilting projects. . . or your favorite book and retreat for a weekend with others who share your passions.

This retreat will remove you from the distractions of home and work, surround you by kindred spirits, enable you to complete your project, and give you the opportunity to make a host of new friends!

Each retreat attendee initially receives one Riverside Recipe Book. Please bring the recipe book with you to each retreat as recipes will continually be collected and added at each subsequent retreat.

For each retreat, attendees are asked to bring 25 copies of one (or two) of their favorite recipes. To fit into our special 3 ring booklet each recipe should be typed or written on a paper measuring 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 inches with the recipe printed horizontally. Be sure to include: (1) the name of your recipe, (2) the number of servings, (3) your name with home city and state, plus (4) the retreat month and year you are submitting the recipe for. If you are unable to bring duplicate copies just bring one copy and we'll duplicate it for you.

FOR YOUR INFORMATION: We will provide one (1) five-foot long table for scrapbooking, craft, or quilting use per person (additional tables available upon request). ALL tables will be set up at the Inn; no tables will be set up at Serenity Shores as this home is for overnight lodging only. Scrapbookers and Quilters will have separate work stations. Ironing boards and irons will be available in the quilting area(s). We recommend you bring a high intensity light and an extension cord to use at your table.

7:00 a.m. Saturday – 1:00 p.m. Sunday Quilt, scrapbook, stamp, read, sleep or do whatever to your heart’s content!

1:00 p.m. * Back to reality also known as Time to head for home!

* If you choose to stay a 3rd night your check-out time will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, instead of Sunday.
