Since the spring of 2003, Jim and Jeanette DeRose have owned and operated Riverside Inn in Cold Spring. The DeRose family has a long history in the hospitality industry having owned and operated vacation property rentals in Minnesota including Riverside Resort and Serenity Shores. They also offer a premier oceanfront paradise retreat and family vacation destination rental - Riverside Aloha - on the Garden Island of Kauai, Hawaii. Neil is active in the daily operation of the Inn and works in every facet of the business. He graduated from St. Cloud State University with a Travel and Tourism degree and has been involved in the hospitality industry for several years. Neil first met the DeRose's when he was hired to complete his travel and tourism internship at the Inn. Prior to graduation, Neil traveled abroad to work in a five star resort property. Neil brings dedication to Riverside Inn and recognizes the importance of the family's long-standing trademarks of cleanliness, friendliness, and personalized service. Uniquely connected to Riverside Inn via the Sauk River waterway is the Riverside Resort in Richmond, a haven that captures the spirit of an up-north retreat with magnificent craftsmanship and views. Located on Cedar Island Lake, Riverside Resort features a variety of deluxe housekeeping cottage rentals plus two year 'round vacation home rentals, and offers an abundance of activities as varied as people's interests.
